Sunan an-Nasa'i, 778

Rapporté par Abu Aliyah Al-Barra : Ziyad a retardé la prière, puis Ibn Samit est venu chez moi. Je lui ai donné une chaise et il s'est assis dessus. Je lui ai raconté ce que Ziyad avait fait et il a mordu sa lèvre (en signe de désapprobation), puis il m'a frappé sur la cuisse et a dit : "J'ai posé à Abu Dharr la même question que tu m'as posée, et il m'a frappé sur la cuisse comme je t'ai frappé, et il a dit : J'ai posé la même question au Messager d'Allah (ﷺ), et il m'a frappé sur la cuisse comme je t'ai frappé, et il a dit : Fais la prière à l'heure, et si tu rejoins les autres, prie avec eux, et ne dis pas : 'J'ai déjà prié donc je ne vais pas prier maintenant

It was narrated that Abu Aliyah Al-Barra said:"Ziyad delayed the prayer, then Ibn Samit came to me and I gave him a chair and he sat on it. I told him what Ziyad had done and he bit his lip (in disapproval), and he struck me on the thigh and said: 'I asked Abu Dharr the same question you asked me, and he struck me on the thigh as I struck you on the thigh and said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) the same question as you have asked me and he struck me on the thigh as I have struck you on the thigh and said: Offer the prayer on time, and if you catch up with them, then pray with them, and do not say: 'I have already prayed so I will not pray(now)
