Sahih Muslim, 6315

Rapporté par Salman رضي الله عنه : Si tu peux, ne sois pas le premier à entrer au marché ni le dernier à en sortir, car il y a là du tumulte et l’étendard de Satan y est dressé. Il a dit : J’ai appris que Gabriel (qu’Allah soit satisfait de lui) est venu voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ alors qu’il était avec Oumm Salama et il a commencé à lui parler. Puis il s’est levé, et le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit à Oumm Salama : « Sais-tu qui c’était et ce qu’il a dit ? » Elle a répondu : « C’était Dihya (al-Kalbi). » Oumm Salama a rapporté : Par Allah, je croyais que c’était lui (Dihya) jusqu’à ce que j’entende le discours du Messager d’Allah ﷺ nous informant de ce qui s’était passé. Il (le narrateur) a dit : J’ai demandé à Othman : « De qui tiens-tu cela ? » Il a répondu : « D’Oussama ibn Zayd. »

Salman reported:In case it lies in your power don't be one to enter the bazar first and the last to get out of that because there is a bustle and the standard of Satan is set there. He said: I was informed that Gabriel (Allah be pleased with him) came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and there was with him Umin Salama and he began to talk with him. He then stood up, whereupon Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said to Umm Salama: (Do you know) who was he and what did he say? She said: He was Dihya (Kalbi). He reported Umm Salama having said: By Allah, I did not deem him but only he (Dihya) until I heard the address of Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) informing him about us. He (the narrator) said: I said to Uthman: From whom did you hear it? He said: From Usima b. Zaid
