Sahih Muslim, 4286

Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète d’Allah ﷺ a dit que Soulayman b. Dawud, le Messager d’Allah, a déclaré : « Je vais avoir des rapports avec soixante-dix épouses cette nuit ; elles donneront toutes naissance à un garçon qui combattra pour la cause d’Allah. » Son compagnon ou l’ange lui a dit : « Dis : “Si Allah le veut.” » Mais il ne l’a pas dit et il a oublié. Aucune de ses épouses n’a eu d’enfant, sauf une qui a donné naissance à un enfant prématuré. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « S’il avait dit “Insha’ Allah”, il n’aurait pas échoué et son souhait se serait réalisé. »

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Prophet (ﷺ) as saying that Sulaiman b. Dawud, the Messenger of Allah, observed:I will have an intercourse with seventy wives during the night; all of them will give birth to a male child who will fight in the cause of Allah. His companion or the ang I said to him: Say," If God wills." But he (Hadrat Sulaimin) did not say so, and he forgot it. And none of his wives gave birth to a child, but one who gave birth to a premature child. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Had he said Insha' Allah (if God so will). he would not have failed and his desire would have been materialised
