Sunan Ibn Majah, 551

Rapporté par Jabir : Le Messager d’Allah est passé près d’un homme qui faisait ses ablutions et lavait ses chaussons en cuir. Il a fait un geste de la main et a dit : "En réalité, on m’a ordonné de les essuyer." Le Messager d’Allah a alors montré avec sa main, du bout des orteils jusqu’à la base du tibia, en traçant des lignes avec ses doigts

It was narrated that Jabir said:"The Messenger of Allah passed by a man who was performing ablution and washing his leather socks. He gestures with his hand, (and said): 'Rather I have been commanded to wipe them.'
