Sunan Ibn Majah, 2299

Rapporté par Rafi' bin 'Amr Al-Ghifari : "Quand j'étais enfant, je lançais des pierres sur nos palmiers-dattiers" - ou il a dit : "les palmiers-dattiers des Ansar." On m'a amené devant le Prophète (ﷺ) et il a dit : "Ô garçon" - (un des rapporteurs) Ibn Kasib a dit : Il a dit : "Ô mon fils, pourquoi lances-tu des pierres sur les palmiers-dattiers ?" J'ai dit : "Pour pouvoir manger." Il a dit : "Ne lance pas de pierres sur les palmiers-dattiers. Mange de ce qui tombe par terre." Puis il m'a caressé la tête et a dit : "Ô Allah, donne-lui de quoi manger

It was narrated that Rafi' bin 'Amr Al-Ghifari said:"When I was a boy, I used to throw stones at our date-palm trees"[1] - or he said: "the date-palm trees of the Ansar." I was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said: 'O boy' - (one of the narrators) Ibn Kasib said: He said: 'O my son - why are you throwing stones at the date-palm trees?' I said: 'So I can eat.' He said: 'Do not throw stones at the date-palm trees. Eat from what falls to the ground from them.' Then he patted me on the head and said: 'O Allah give him enough to eat.'”
