Sunan Abi Dawud, 4421

Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه : Ma’iz ibn Malik est venu voir le Prophète ﷺ et a dit qu’il avait commis la fornication, et le Prophète ﷺ s’est détourné de lui. Il l’a répété plusieurs fois, mais le Prophète ﷺ s’est détourné de lui. Il demanda à ses proches : « Est-il fou ? » Ils répondirent : « Il n’a aucun défaut. » Il demanda : « L’as-tu fait avec elle ? » Il répondit : « Oui. » Alors il ordonna qu’il soit lapidé à mort. Il fut emmené et lapidé à mort, et le Prophète ﷺ n’a pas prié sur lui

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: Ma'iz ibn Malik came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said that he had committed fornication and he (the Prophet) turned away from him. He repeated it many times, but he (the Prophet) turned away from him. He asked his people: Is he mad? They replied: There is no defect in him. He asked: Have you done it with her? He replied: Yes. so he ordered that he should be stoned to death. He was taken out and stoned to death, and he (the Prophet) did not pray over him
