The Book of Manumission of Slaves

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شِرْكًا لَهُ فِي عَبْدٍ عَتَقَ مِنْهُ مَا بَقِيَ فِي مَالِهِ إِذَا كَانَ لَهُ مَا يَبْلُغُ ثَمَنَ الْعَبْدِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Rapporté par Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Si un homme affranchit sa part dans un esclave, le reste sera affranchi avec son argent s’il a assez d’argent pour payer le prix total. »

Ibn 'Umar reported the Prophet (ﷺ) as saying:If a man emancipates his share in a slave, the rest will be emancipated by his money if he has enough money to pay the full price for him
