Sunan Abi Dawud, 2341

Rapporté par Ikrimah رضي الله عنه : Un jour, les gens doutaient de l’apparition de la lune du Ramadan et n’avaient pas l’intention de faire la prière de tarawih ni de jeûner. Un bédouin est venu d’al-Harrah et a témoigné qu’il avait vu la lune. On l’a amené au Prophète ﷺ. Il demanda : « Attestes-tu qu’il n’y a de dieu qu’Allah et que je suis le Messager d’Allah ? » Il répondit : « Oui », et il témoigna avoir vu la lune. Le Prophète ﷺ ordonna alors à Bilal d’annoncer aux gens de faire la prière de tarawih et de jeûner

Narrated Ikrimah: Once the people doubted the appearance of the moon of Ramadan, and intended neither to offer the tarawih prayer nor to keep fast. A bedouin came from al-Harrah and testified that he had sighted the moon. He was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ). He asked: Do you testify that there is no god but Allah, and that I am the Messenger of Allah? He said: Yes; and he testified that he had sighted the moon. He commanded Bilal who announced to the people to offer the tarawih prayer and to keep fast
