It was narrated that Ibn Al- Hawtakiyyah said:"Umar, May Allah be pleased with us on the day when we stopped at Al-Qaha?' Abu Dharr said: 'I was. ‘Umar — qu’Allah l’agrée — dit : « Étais-tu avec nous le jour où nous nous sommes arrêtés à al-Qahâ ? » Abû Dharr répondit : « Oui, j’y étais. » Un lapin fut alors apporté au Messager d’Allah ﷺ, et l’homme qui l’avait apporté dit : « Je l’ai vu saigner (comme s’il avait ses règles). » Le Prophète ﷺ n’en mangea pas, puis il dit : « Mangez-en. » Un homme dit : « Je jeûne. » Le Prophète ﷺ lui demanda : « Quel jeûne observes-tu ? » Il répondit : « Trois jours chaque mois. » Le Prophète ﷺ dit : « Pourquoi ne jeûnes-tu pas les jours blancs : le treizième, quatorzième et quinzième ? »
