Sunan an-Nasa'i, 3325

Zainab bint Abu Salamah narrated that her mother Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet, used to say:"The rest of the wives of the Prophet refused for anyone to enter upon them on the basis of that type of breast-feeding, meaning breast-feeding of an adult. They said to 'Aishah: 'By Allah, we think that this is a concession which the Messenger of Allah granted only to Salim. No one will enter upon us, nor see us on the basis of this type of breast-feeding

Rapporté par Zainab bint Abu Salamah : Sa mère, Umm Salamah, l’épouse du Prophète ﷺ, disait : « Les autres épouses du Prophète ﷺ ont refusé que quiconque entre chez elles sur la base de ce type d’allaitement, c’est-à-dire l’allaitement d’un adulte. Elles ont dit à 'Aishah : ‘Par Allah, nous pensons que c’est une dérogation que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a accordée uniquement à Salim. Personne n’entrera chez nous, ni ne nous verra sur la base de ce type d’allaitement.’ »
