Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2127

It was narrated from Ribi that one of the Companions of the Prophet said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'D not anticipate the month until you complete the number, or you see the crescent. Then fast, and do not stop fasting until you see the crescent, or your complete thirty days."' (Sahih) Al-Hajjaj bin Artah reported it in a Mursal from

Rapporté par Ribi : Un des Compagnons du Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : “N’anticipez pas le mois avant d’avoir complété le nombre de jours, ou d’avoir vu le croissant.
