Sahih Muslim, 1900

This hadith has been transmitted thus by 'Umar b. Khattab (with a slight change of words):" I heard Hisham b. Hakim reciting Surah al-Furqan during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)." The rest is the same but with this addition:" I was about to catch hold of him in prayer, but I exercised patience till he pronounced salutation

Rapporté par Omar b. Khattab رضي الله عنه : Ce hadith a été transmis par Omar b. Khattab avec une légère différence : « J’ai entendu Hisham b. Hakim réciter la sourate al-Furqan du vivant du Messager d’Allah ﷺ. » Le reste est identique, avec cette précision : « J’ai failli l’attraper pendant la prière, mais j’ai patienté jusqu’à la fin de la prière. »
