Muwatta Malik, 1768

Malik related to me from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talha that Rafi ibn Ishaq, the mawla of ash-Shifa informed him that he and Abdullah ibn Abi Talha had gone to visit Abu Said al-Khudri while he was ill. Abu Said said to them, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, informed us, 'The angels do not enter a house which contains pictures or images.' " Ishaq was not sure which of them Abu Said said

Rafe' Ibn Ishac l'affranchi de Al-Chifà a raconté: «Nous avons rendu visite, Abdallah Ibn Abi Talha et moi à Abou Sa'id Al-Khoudri, lors de sa maladie, Abou Sa'id nous dit: «L'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) nous a appris que les anges n'entrent pas dans une maison où se trouvent des figurines ou des statues». Le rapporteur se doutait du cas (à savoir figu -rines ou statues)
