Sunan Ibn Majah, 2810

It was narrated that ‘Ali said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had an Arabian bow in his hand, and he saw a man who had a Persian bow in his hand. He said: ‘What is this? Throw it away. You should use this and others like it, and Qana* spears. Perhaps Allah will support His religion thereby and enable you to conquer lands.’”

Rapporté par ‘Ali : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) avait un arc arabe dans la main et il a vu un homme qui tenait un arc perse. Il a dit : « Qu’est-ce que c’est ? Jette-le. Utilise celui-ci et d’autres comme lui, ainsi que des lances Qana. Peut-être qu’Allah soutiendra Sa religion grâce à cela et vous permettra de conquérir des terres. »
