Narrated Adi ibn Hatim: I said: Messenger of Allah, tell me when one of us catches game and has no knife; may he slaughter with a flint and a splinter of stick. He said: Cause the blood to flow with whatever you like and mention Allah's name

Rapporté par Adi ibn Hatim : J’ai dit : « Messager d’Allah, dis-moi, si l’un de nous attrape du gibier et n’a pas de couteau, peut-il l’égorger avec un silex ou un éclat de bois ? » Il a dit : « Fais couler le sang avec ce que tu veux et prononce le nom d’Allah. »
