Sunan Abi Dawud, 2823

Narrated Ata' ibn Yasar: A man of Banu Harith was pasturing a pregnant she-camel in one of the ravines of Uhud, (he saw that) it was about to die; he could find nothing to slaughter it; he took a stake and stabbed it in the upper part of its breast until he made its blood flow. He then came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and informed him about that, and he ordered him to eat it

Rapporté par Ata' ibn Yasar : Un homme de Banu Harith faisait paître une chamelle pleine dans un des ravins d’Uhud, (il a vu) qu’elle était sur le point de mourir ; il n’a rien trouvé pour l’égorger, alors il a pris un pieu et l’a enfoncé dans le haut de sa poitrine jusqu’à faire couler son sang. Il est ensuite venu voir le Prophète ﷺ et l’a informé de cela, et le Prophète lui a ordonné de la manger
