Sourate Al-Qasas · سُوْرَةُ الْقَصَصِ · Juz 20

Q 28:75

وَنَزَعْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا فَقُلْنَا هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَـٰنَكُمْ فَعَلِمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

Traductions

Cependant, Nous ferons sortir de chaque communauté un témoin, puis Nous dirons: «Apportez votre preuve décisive». Ils sauront alors que la Vérité est à Allah; et que ce qu'ils avaient inventé les a abandonnés.

And We will extract from every nation a witness and say, "Produce your proof," and they will know that the truth belongs to Allah, and lost from them is that which they used to invent.

Tafsir

Nous convoquerons de chaque communauté son prophète afin de témoigner de sa mécréance et de sa dénégation. Nous dirons alors aux dénégateurs de ces peuples: Apportez les arguments et les preuves qui plaident en faveur de votre mécréance et de votre démenti, mais ils seront incapables d’en apporter. Ils auront ainsi la certitude que la vérité indubitable provient d’Allah et les associés qu’ils ont mensongèrement attribués à Allah seront absents.

And the Day when He will call to them, and will say: "Where are My (so-called) partners, whom you used to assert? (74)And We shall take out from every nation a witness, and We shall say: "Bring your proof." Then they shall know that the truth is with Allah, and the lies which they invented will disappear from them (75) Rebuking the Idolators This is another call by way of rebuke for those who worshipped other gods besides Allah. The Lord, may He be exalted, will call to them before all the witnesses, and will say: أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنْتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ (Where are My (so-called) partners, whom you used to assert?) meaning, in this world. وَنَزَعْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا (And We shall take out from every nation a witness,) Mujahid said, "This means a Messenger." فَقُلْنَا هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ (and We shall say: "Bring your proof.") meaning, 'of the truth of your claim that Allah had any partners.' فَعَلِمُوا أَنَّ الْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ (Then they shall know that the truth is with Allah,) meaning, that there is no god besides Him. Then they will not speak and they will not be able to find any answer. وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ (and the lies which they invented will disappear from them.) they will vanish and will be of no benefit to them.
