The Book of the Commencement of the Prayer

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ ‏{‏ وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى ‏}‏ وَفِي الْعَصْرِ نَحْوَ ذَلِكَ وَفِي الصُّبْحِ بِأَطْوَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ‏.‏

Rapporté par Jabir bin Samurah : Le Prophète (ﷺ) récitait « Par la nuit quand elle enveloppe » dans le zuhr et quelque chose de similaire dans l’asr, et il récitait quelque chose de plus long que cela dans la prière du subh
