The Book of Seeking Refuge with Allah

أَخْبَرَنَا هِلاَلُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادٌ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ عَيْنِ الْجَانِّ وَعَيْنِ الإِنْسِ فَلَمَّا نَزَلَتِ الْمُعَوِّذَتَانِ أَخَذَ بِهِمَا وَتَرَكَ مَا سِوَى ذَلِكَ ‏.‏

Rapporté par Abu Sa'eed : Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ cherchait la protection d'Allah contre le mauvais œil des djinns et des humains. Quand les deux sourates protectrices (Al-Mu'awwidhatan) ont été révélées, il les récitait et a arrêté de réciter autre chose pour cela
