Sunan an-Nasa'i, 5409

Rapporté par 'Abbad bin Shurahbil : Je suis venu à Médine avec mes oncles paternels et je suis entré dans un de ses jardins, où j'ai frotté un épi de blé (pour prendre quelques grains). Le propriétaire du jardin est venu, m'a pris mon manteau et m'a frappé. Je suis allé voir le Messager d'Allah ﷺ et j'ai demandé son aide contre lui. Il a fait venir cet homme. Il a dit : « Qu'est-ce qui t'a poussé à faire cela ? » Il a répondu : « Ô Messager d'Allah, il est entré dans mon jardin, a pris un épi de blé et l'a frotté. » Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit : « Tu ne lui as pas appris s'il était ignorant, ni nourri s'il avait faim. Rends-lui son manteau. » Et le Messager d'Allah ﷺ m'a ordonné de lui donner un Wasq ou un demi-Wasq

It was narrated that 'Abbad bin Shurahbil said:"I came to Al-Madinah with my paternal uncles and entered one of its gardens, where I rubbed an ear of grain (to take some grains). The owner of the garden came, took my cloak and hit me. I came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and sought his help against him. He sent for the man and they brought him. He said: 'What made you do that?' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, he entered my garden and took one of the ears of grain and rubbed it.' The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'You did not teach him if he was ignorant, nor feed him if he was hungry. Give him back his cloak.' And the Messenger of Allah [SAW] ordered me with a Wasq or half a Wasq
