أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَزْرَةُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ كَانَ لَنَا سِتْرٌ فِيهِ تِمْثَالُ طَيْرٍ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْبَيْتِ إِذَا دَخَلَ الدَّاخِلُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ يَا عَائِشَةُ حَوِّلِيهِ فَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَخَلْتُ فَرَأَيْتُهُ ذَكَرْتُ الدُّنْيَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَتْ وَكَانَ لَنَا قَطِيفَةٌ لَهَا عَلَمٌ فَكُنَّا نَلْبَسُهَا فَلَمْ نَقْطَعْهُ ‏.‏

Rapporté par 'Aishah, l'épouse du Prophète ﷺ : Nous avions un rideau avec des images d'oiseaux, à l'entrée de la maison. Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit : « Ô 'Aishah, enlève-le, car chaque fois que j'entre et que je le vois, je pense à ce bas monde. » Elle dit : « Nous avions un manteau épais, avec une bordure, que nous portions, et il n'était pas coupé. »

It was narrated that 'Aishah, the wife of the Prophet [SAW], said:"We had a curtain on which there were images of birds, at the entrance to the house. The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'O 'Aishah, remove it, for ever time I come in and see it, I remember this world.'" She said: "We had a plush wrap, with a border on it, that we would wear, and it was not cut off
