Sunan an-Nasa'i, 5349

Rapporté par 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah : Il est entré chez Abu Talhah Al-Ansari pour lui rendre visite (quand il était malade), et il trouva Sahl bin Hunaif là-bas. Abu Talhah demanda à quelqu'un d'enlever une couverture sous lui, et Sahl lui dit : « Pourquoi veux-tu l'enlever ? » Il répondit : « Parce qu'il y a des images dessus, et le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit ce que tu sais à leur sujet. » Il dit : « N'a-t-il pas dit : Sauf pour les motifs sur les tissus ? » Il répondit : « Oui, mais cela me met plus à l'aise. »

It was narrated from 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah that:He entered upon Abu Talhah Al-Ansari to visit him (when he was sick), and he found Sahl bin Hunaif there. Abu Talhah told someone to remove a blanket from beneath him, and Sahl said to him: "Why do you want to remove it?" He said: "Because there are images on it, and the Messenger of Allah [SAW] said what you know concerning them." He said: "Did he not say: Except for patterns on fabrics?" He said: "Yes, but this makes me feel more comfortable
