Sunan an-Nasa'i, 5098

Rapporté par Masruq : Une femme est venue voir 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud et a dit : « Je suis une femme qui a peu de cheveux, puis-je mettre des extensions ? » Il a répondu : « Non. » Elle a demandé : « Est-ce quelque chose que tu as entendu du Messager d'Allah ﷺ ou que tu trouves dans le Livre d'Allah ? » Il a dit : « Non, je l'ai entendu du Messager d'Allah ﷺ et je le trouve dans le Livre d'Allah. » Puis il a cité le hadith

It was narrated from Masruq that:A woman came to 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud and said: "I am a woman with little hair, is it alright for me to add extensions to my hair?" He said: "No." She said: "Is it something that you heard from the Messenger of Allah [SAW] or that you find in the Book of Allah?" He said: "No, rather I heard it from the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and I find it in the Book of Allah." And he quoted the Hadith
