أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، فِي حَدِيثِهِ عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ بَنِي يَرْبُوعٍ قَالَ أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ يُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ نَاسٌ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَؤُلاَءِ بَنُو فُلاَنٍ الَّذِينَ قَتَلُوا فُلاَنًا . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَجْنِي نَفْسٌ عَلَى أُخْرَى " .
Rapporté par Ash'ath, d’après son père, qu’un homme parmi Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu' a dit : "Nous sommes venus voir le Messager d’Allah pendant qu’il parlait aux gens, et certains se sont levés et ont dit : 'Ô Messager d’Allah, voici Banu Tha'labah qui ont tué untel.' Le Messager d’Allah a dit : 'Aucune âme n’est touchée par le péché d’une autreIt was narrated from Ash'ath, from his father that a man from among Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu' said:"We came to the Messenger of Allah when he was speaking to the people, and some people stood up and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, these are Banu Tha'labah who killed so and so.'
