Sunan an-Nasa'i, 4318

Rapporté par Ibn 'Abbas : Ma tante maternelle a offert du fromage frais, du gras cuit et des varans au Messager d'Allah. Il a mangé du fromage et du gras, mais il a laissé les varans car il n'aimait pas cela. Mais ils ont été mangés à la table du Messager d'Allah, et s'ils étaient interdits, ils n'auraient pas été consommés à sa table et il n'aurait pas dit aux autres d'en manger

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:"My maternal aunt gave some cottage cheese, cooking fat, and mastigures to the Messenger of Allah He ate some of the cottage cheese and cooking fat, and left the mastigures, as he found them distasteful. But they were eaten upon the table-spread of the Messenger of Allah and if they were Haram they would not have been eaten upon the table-spread of the Messenger of Allah and he would not have told others to eat them
