Sunan an-Nasa'i, 3515

Rapporté par Abu Salamah bin 'Abdur-Rahman : "Ibn 'Abbas, Abu Hurairah et moi étions ensemble, et Ibn 'Abbas a dit : 'Si une femme accouche après la mort de son mari, sa 'Idda est la plus longue des deux périodes.'" Abu Salamah a dit : "Nous avons envoyé Kuraib demander à Umm Salamah à ce sujet. Il est revenu et nous a dit de sa part que le mari de Subai'ah était mort et qu’elle avait accouché quelques jours après sa mort, et le Messager d’Allah ﷺ lui a dit de se remarier

Abu Salamah bin 'Abdur-Rahman said:"Ibn 'Abbas, Abu Hurairah and I were together, and Ibn 'Abbas said: 'If a woman gives birth after her husband dies, her 'Iddah is the longer of the two periods.'" Abu Salamah said: "We sent Kuraib to Umm Salamah to ask her about that. He came to us and told us from her that the husband of Subai'ah died and she gave birth a few days after her husband died, and the Messenger of Allah told her to get married
