The Book of Hajj

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرٌ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَزَلَ - يَعْنِي - عَنِ الصَّفَا حَتَّى إِذَا انْصَبَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي الْوَادِي رَمَلَ حَتَّى إِذَا صَعِدَ مَشَى ‏.‏

Rapporté par Jabir : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ descendit de As-Safa jusqu’à atteindre un terrain plat dans la vallée, puis il accéléra le pas (Ramel) jusqu’à ce que le terrain remonte, puis il reprit sa marche normale

Jabir narrated that:the Messenger of Allah came down from As-Safa until he reached level round in the valley, then he hastened (Ramel) until (the ground) rouse, then he walked
