Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2728

Rapporté par Mutarrif bin `Abdullah : `Imran bin Husain m’a dit : « Nous avons accompli le Tamattu` avec le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). » Abu Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) a précisé : Il y a trois personnes nommées Isma`il bin Muslim ; celui-ci est l’un d’eux, et il n’y a pas de mal à lui faire confiance. Quant au cheikh Isma`il bin Muslim qui rapporte d’Abu Tufail, il n’y a pas de mal à lui non plus. Mais Isma`il bin Muslim qui rapporte d’Az-Zuhri et d’Al-Hasan, il est abandonné dans le hadith

It was narrated that Mutarrif bin `Abdullah said:"`Imran bin Husain said to me: 'We performed Tamattu` with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).'" Abu Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: There are three (named) Isma`il bin Muslim; this is one of them, and there is no harm in him. And Shaikh Isma`il bin Muslim who reports from Abu Tufail, there is no harm in him. And Isma`il bin Muslim who reports from Az-Zuhri and Al-Hasan, he is abandoned in Hadith
