Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2531

Rapporté par Sa'eed et 'Urwah : Ils ont entendu Hakim bin Hizam dire : "J’ai demandé au Messager d’Allah ﷺ et il m’a donné, puis j’ai redemandé et il m’a donné, puis j’ai encore demandé et il m’a donné. Ensuite, il a dit : 'Cette richesse est attirante et douce. Celui qui la prend sans insister, elle sera bénie pour lui, mais celui qui la prend avec avidité, elle ne sera pas bénie pour lui. Il sera comme celui qui mange sans jamais être rassasié. Et la main qui donne est meilleure que celle qui reçoit

Sa'eed and 'Urwah narrated that they heard Hakim bin Hizam say:"I asked the Messenger of Allah and he gave me, then I asked him and he gave me, then I asked him and he gave me. Then he said: "This wealth is attractive and sweet. Whoever takes it without insisting, it will be blessed for him, and whoever takes it with avarice, it will not be blessed for him. He is like one who eats and is not satisfied. And the upper hand is better than the lower hand
