Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2317

Rapporté par 'Ata d’après Ibn 'Abbas : À propos de ce verset : « Quant à ceux qui peuvent jeûner avec difficulté, (ils ont le choix soit de jeûner, soit de nourrir un pauvre chaque jour). » Cela signifie que ceux qui ont du mal à jeûner doivent nourrir un pauvre pour chaque jour. Mais celui qui fait plus de bien de son propre gré, cela signifie nourrir un autre pauvre. Ce verset n’est pas abrogé, et c’est mieux pour lui. Et : « Jeûner est meilleur pour vous » signifie qu’il n’y a de facilité à ce sujet que pour ceux qui ne peuvent pas jeûner ou qui sont incurablement malades

It was narrated from 'Ata from Ibn 'Abbas:concerning this verse "And as for those who can fast with difficulty, (a choice either to fast or) to feed a Miskin (poor person) (for every day)." That for those who can fast with difficulty means they find it hard; to feed a Miskin means feeding one poor person for each day. But whoever does good of his own accord means feeding another poor person. This is not abrogated, and it is bette for him. And: that "you fast is better for you" means there is no concession regarding this except for those who are not able to fast, or who are incurably sick
