Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2074

Rapporté par Anas : "Nous étions avec 'Umar entre La Mecque et Médine, quand il a commencé à nous parler des gens de Badr. Il a dit : Le Messager d’Allah nous a montré la veille les endroits où (les mécréants) tomberaient. Il a dit : 'Voici l’endroit où untel tombera demain, si Allah le veut.' 'Umar a dit : 'Par Celui qui l’a envoyé avec la vérité ! Ils n’ont pas manqué ces endroits. Ils ont été placés dans un puits et le Prophète est venu et a appelé : Ô untel, fils d’untel ! Ô untel, fils d’untel ! Avez-vous trouvé ce que votre Seigneur avait promis ? Car moi, j’ai trouvé ce qu’Allah m’a promis.' 'Umar a dit : 'Parles-tu à des corps sans âmes ?' Il a répondu : 'Vous n’entendez pas mieux que ce qu’ils entendent

It was narrated that Anas said:"We were with 'Umar between Makkah and Al-Madinah, when he strted to tell us about the people of Badr. He said: The Messenger of Allah showed us the day before where they (the disbelivers) would fall. He said: This is the place where so-and-so will fall tomorrow, if Allah wills.' 'Umar said: 'By the One Who sent him with the truth! They did not miss those places, They were placed in a well and the Prophet came to them and called out: O so-and-so, son of so-and-so! O so-and-so, son of so-andso! Have you found what your Lord promised to be true? Of I have found what allah promised me to be true. 'Umar said: 'Are you speaking to bodies in which there are no souls?' He said: 'You do not hear what I say any better than they do
