Sunan an-Nasa'i, 196

Rapporté par ‘Urwah : ‘Aishah lui a raconté qu’Umm Sulaim a parlé au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) alors qu’‘Aishah était assise là. Elle lui a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah ! Allah n’a pas honte de dire la vérité. Dis-moi : si une femme voit en rêve ce que voient les hommes, doit-elle faire le Ghusl ? » Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) lui a répondu : « Oui. » ‘Aishah a dit : « J’ai exprimé ma surprise et j’ai dit : “Une femme voit-elle cela ?” » Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) s’est tourné vers moi et a dit : « Que ta main droite soit couverte de poussière ! Comment sinon l’enfant lui ressemblerait-il ? »

It was narrated from 'Urwah that 'Aishah told him that Umm Sulaim spoke to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when 'Aishah was sitting there. She said to him:"O Messenger of Allah! Allah is not shy to tell the truth. Inform me: if a women sees in a dream what men see should she perform Ghusl from that?" The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to her: "Yes." 'Aishah said: "I expressed my displeasure and said: 'Does a woman see that?' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turned to me and said: 'May your right hand be covered with dust! How else would (her child) resemble her?
