The Book of the Prayer for the Two 'Eids

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ خَرَجَ عُمَرُ - رضى الله عنه - يَوْمَ عِيدٍ فَسَأَلَ أَبَا وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيَّ بِأَىِّ شَىْءٍ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ فَقَالَ بِـ ‏{‏ ق ‏}‏ وَ{‏ اقْتَرَبَتْ ‏}‏ ‏.‏

Rapporté par ‘Ubaidullah bin ‘Abdullah : ‘Umar, que Allah l’agrée, est sorti le jour de l’Aïd et a demandé à Abu Waqid Al-Laithi : « Qu’a récité le Prophète (ﷺ) ce jour-là ? » Il a répondu : « Qaf » et « L’Heure approche »
