Sunan an-Nasa'i, 1563

Rapporté par Al-Bara' bin 'Azib, transmis par l’un des piliers de la mosquée : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a prononcé un sermon le jour d’An-Nahr et a dit : « La première chose que nous faisons aujourd’hui, c’est la prière, puis nous offrons le sacrifice. Celui qui fait cela suit notre tradition, mais celui qui sacrifie avant la prière, ce n’est que de la viande qu’il a donnée à sa famille. » Abu Burdah bin Niyar avait déjà sacrifié et a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), j’ai un agneau qui vaut mieux qu’une brebis adulte. » Il a dit : « Sacrifie-le, mais cela ne suffira à personne d’autre après toi. »

Al-Bara' bin 'Azib narrated to us by one of the pillars of the masjid:"The Prophet (ﷺ) delivered a Khutbah on the day of An-Nahr and said: 'The first thing we start with on this day of ours is the prayer, then we offer sacrifice. Whoever does that, he has followed our sunnah, but whoever slaughtered (his sacrifice) before the (prayer), that is just meat that he gave to his family.
