Sunan an-Nasa'i, 1521

Rapporté par Hisham bin Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Kinanah : Son père a dit : « Un des gouverneurs m’a envoyé demander à Ibn Abbas au sujet de la prière pour la pluie. Il a dit : « Pourquoi ne m’a-t-il pas demandé ? Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est sorti humblement, dans un état d’humilité, de soumission et de supplication, et il a prié deux rak‘as comme pour la prière de l’Aïd, mais il n’a pas fait de prêche comme le vôtre. »

It was narrated from Hisham bin Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Kinanah that:His father said: "One of the governors sent me to Ibn Abbas to ask him about the prayer for rain. He said: 'What kept him from asking me? The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out humbly, (dressed) in a state of humility, submissiveness and beseeching, and he prayed two rak'ahs as in the Eid prayer, but he did not deliver a Khutbah like this Khutbah of yours
