Sunan an-Nasa'i, 1312

Rapporté par Hudhaifah : Il vit un homme prier (et son inclinaison et sa prosternation étaient incomplètes). Hudhaifah lui dit : “Depuis combien de temps pries-tu ainsi ?” Il répondit : “Depuis quarante ans.” Hudhaifah dit : “Tu n’as pas prié pendant quarante ans, et si tu meurs en priant ainsi, tu mourras sur une voie différente de celle de Muhammad (ﷺ).” Puis il ajouta : “Il est possible de prier brièvement tout en accomplissant bien la prière.”

It was narrated from Hudhaifah that:He saw a man praying (And his bowing and prostration) were lacking. Hudhaifah said to him: 'For how long have you been praying like this?' He said: "For forty years.' He said: 'You have not been praying for forty years and if you die praying like this, you will have died following a path other than the path of Muhammad (ﷺ). Then he said: 'It is possible for a man to pray briefly, but still do it properly
