أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُخَيْمِرَةَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ - رضى الله عنها - عَنِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ فَقَالَتِ ائْتِ عَلِيًّا فَإِنَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِذَلِكَ مِنِّي . فَأَتَيْتُ عَلِيًّا فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ فَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ يَمْسَحَ الْمُقِيمُ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً وَالْمُسَافِرُ ثَلاَثًا .
Rapporté par Shuraih bin Hani' : J'ai demandé à 'Aïsha au sujet du fait de passer les mains mouillées sur les khuffs et elle a dit : "Va voir 'Ali, il en sait plus que moi à ce sujet." Je suis donc allé voir 'Ali et je lui ai posé la question. Il a dit : "Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) nous disait de passer les mains mouillées sur les khuffs pendant un jour et une nuit pour le résident, et trois jours pour le voyageurIt was narrated that Shuraih bin Hani' said:"I asked 'Aishah about wiping over the Khuffs and she said: 'Go to 'Ali, for he knows more about that than I do.' So I went to 'Ali and asked him about wiping (over the Khuffs) and he said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to tell us to wipe (over the Khuffs) for one day and one night for the resident, and three for the travelerDegrés donnés par les savants
