أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ دَاوُدَ الطَّائِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ وَقَعَ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ فِي سَعْدٍ عِنْدَ عُمَرَ فَقَالُوا وَاللَّهِ مَا يُحْسِنُ الصَّلاَةَ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ أَمَّا أَنَا فَأُصَلِّي بِهِمْ صَلاَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لاَ أَخْرِمُ عَنْهَا أَرْكُدُ فِي الأُولَيَيْنِ وَأَحْذِفُ فِي الأُخْرَيَيْنِ ‏.‏ قَالَ ذَاكَ الظَّنُّ بِكَ ‏.‏

Rapporté par Jabir bin Samurah : Certains habitants d'Al-Kufah se sont plaints de Sa'd auprès de 'Umar. Ils ont dit : "Par Allah, il ne prie pas correctement." Il a répondu : "Je les dirige dans la prière comme le faisait le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ), et je ne m'en écarte pas. Je prends mon temps pendant les deux premières rak'ahs et je fais les deux autres plus courtes." 'Umar a dit : "C'est bien ce que je pensais de toi
