The Book of Tribulations and Portents of the Last Hour

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَعَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي، حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَهْلاً، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُشِيرُ بِإِصْبَعِهِ الَّتِي تَلِي الإِبْهَامَ وَالْوُسْطَى وَهُوَ يَقُولُ " بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ هَكَذَا " .
Rapporté par Sahl ibn Sa'd رضي الله عنه : Il a entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : « Moi et l’Heure sommes (aussi proches l’un de l’autre) que cela », et pour l’expliquer, il a joint son index à son majeur et à son pouceThis hadith has been reported by Sahl b. Sa'd that he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:I and the Last Hour are (close to each other) like this (and he, in order to explain it) pointed (by joining his) forefinger, (one) next to the thumb and the middle finger (together)Degrés donnés par les savants
