Rapporté par Aïcha رضي الله عنها : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ faisait le grand lavage avec de l’eau d’un récipient contenant sept à huit seers (soit quinze à seize livres). Et moi et lui (le Prophète ﷺ) faisions le grand lavage à partir du même récipient. Dans le hadith rapporté par Sufyan, il est dit : « d’un seul récipient ». Qutaiba a précisé : Al-Faraq équivaut à trois Sa’ (une mesure de volume)

A'isha reported:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took a bath from the vessel (which contained seven to eight seers, i. e. fifteen to sixteen pounds) of water And I and he (the Holy Prophet) took a bath from the same vessel. And in the hadith narrated by Sufyan the words are:" from one vessel". Qutaiba said: Al-Faraq is three Sa' (a cubic measuring of varying magnitude)
