Sahih Muslim, 6936

Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « L’invocation du serviteur est exaucée tant qu’il ne demande pas quelque chose de péché ou de couper les liens familiaux, et tant qu’il ne s’impatiente pas. » On demanda : « Ô Messager d’Allah, que signifie : ‘s’impatienter’ ? » Il répondit : « C’est lorsqu’il dit : “J’ai invoqué, j’ai invoqué, mais je n’ai pas vu de réponse”, puis il se décourage et abandonne l’invocation. »

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:The supplication of the servant is granted in case he does not supplicate for sin or for severing the ties of blood, or he does not become impatient. It was said: Allah's Messenger, what does:" If he does not grow impatient" imply? He said: That he should say like this: I supplicated and I supplicated but I did not find it being responded. and theu he becomes frustrated and abandons supplication
