The Book of Virtue, Enjoining Good Manners, and Joining of the Ties of Kinship
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، قَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ ابْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ، قَالَ اسْتَبَّ رَجُلاَنِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَجَعَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا تَحْمَرُّ عَيْنَاهُ وَتَنْتَفِخُ أَوْدَاجُهُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنِّي لأَعْرِفُ كَلِمَةً لَوْ قَالَهَا لَذَهَبَ عَنْهُ الَّذِي يَجِدُ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ " . فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ وَهَلْ تَرَى بِي مِنْ جُنُونٍ قَالَ ابْنُ الْعَلاَءِ فَقَالَ وَهَلْ تَرَى . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الرَّجُلَ
Rapporté par Sulaiman b. Surad : Deux personnes se sont insultées en présence du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, et les yeux de l’un d’eux sont devenus rouges comme des braises et les veines de son cou étaient gonflées. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Je connais une parole ; s’il la disait, sa colère disparaîtrait : “Je cherche protection auprès d’Allah contre Satan le maudit.” » La personne a dit : « Trouves-tu de la folie en moi ? » Ibn al-'Ala' a dit : « Le vois-tu ? » et il n’a pas mentionné la personneSulaiman b. Surad reported that two persons abused each other in the presence of Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and the eyes of one of them became red as embers and the veins of his neck were swollen. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:I know of a wording, if he were to utter that, his fit of rage (would be no more and that wording is): I seek refuge with Allah from Satan the accursed. The person said: Do you find any madness in me? Ibn al-'Ala' said: Do you see it? And he made no mention of the personDegrés donnés par les savants
