The Book of the Merits of the Companions

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ خَادِمُكَ أَنَسٌ ادْعُ اللَّهَ لَهُ فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ " .
Rapporté par Anas رضي الله عنه : Umm Sulaim a dit au Prophète ﷺ : « Ô Messager d’Allah, voici ton serviteur Anas, invoque la bénédiction d’Allah pour lui. » Le Prophète ﷺ a alors dit : « Ô Allah, augmente sa richesse et sa descendance, et accorde-lui la bénédiction dans tout ce que Tu lui as donné. »Anas reported that Umm Sulaim said (to the Holy Prophet) Allah's Messenger, here is your servant Anas, invoke blessings of Allah upon him. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said:O Allah, make an increase in his wealth, and progeny, and confer blessings upon him in everything Thou hast bestowed upon himDegrés donnés par les savants
