Sahih Muslim, 6195

Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Pendant que je dormais, je me suis vu en train de puiser de l’eau de mon bassin pour désaltérer les gens. Abu Bakr est alors venu, il a pris le seau en cuir de ma main pour servir de l’eau aux gens. Il a tiré deux seaux, mais il y avait une certaine faiblesse dans sa manière de puiser (qu’Allah lui pardonne). Ensuite, Ibn Khattab est arrivé, il a pris le seau, et je n’ai vu personne de plus fort que lui pour puiser l’eau, jusqu’à ce que les gens repartent désaltérés et que le bassin soit rempli d’eau. »

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:While I was asleep I saw myself drawing water from my tank in order to quench the thirst of the people that there came to me Abu Bakr. He took hold of the leathern bucket from my hand so that he should serve water to the people. He drew two bucketfuls and there was some weakness in his drawing (Allah may forgive him). Then there came Ibn Khattab and he took hold of that, and I did not see a person stronger than he (drawing water) until the people went away with their thirst quenched and the tank filled with water
