Sahih Muslim, 5584

Rapporté par Asma’ : Une femme vint voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et dit : « J’ai une coépouse. Est-ce mal si je lui fais croire que j’ai reçu quelque chose de mon mari alors qu’en réalité il ne me l’a pas donné ? » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ répondit : « Celle qui crée une telle illusion d’avoir reçu ce qu’on ne lui a pas donné est comme celle qui porte un vêtement de mensonge. »

Asma' reported that a woman came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and said:I have a co-wife. Is there any harm for me if I give her the false impression (of getting something from my husband which he has not in fact given me)? Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: The one who creates such a (false impression) of receiving what one has not been given is like one who wears the garment of falsehood
