Sahih Muslim, 511

Rapporté par Abdullah b. al-Harith : J’ai entendu Abbas dire : « J’ai dit : Ô Messager d’Allah, vraiment Abu Talib t’a défendu et t’a aidé ; cela lui sera-t-il utile ? » Le Prophète ﷺ répondit : « Oui ; je l’ai trouvé dans la partie la plus basse du Feu et je l’ai amené dans la partie la moins profonde. »

Abdullah b. al-Harith reported:I heard Abbas say: I said: Messenger of Allah, verily Abu Talib defended you and helped you; would it be beneficial for him? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Yes; I found him in the lowest part of the Fire and I brought him to the shallow part
