Sahih Muslim, 4480

Rapporté par Aishah رضي الله عنها : Hind, fille de Utba ibn Rabi’, est venue voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, par Allah, il n’y avait pas de famille sur terre que je voulais voir humiliée plus que la tienne. Mais aujourd’hui, il n’y a pas de famille que je veux voir honorée plus que la tienne. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Cela ne fera qu’augmenter, par Celui qui détient ma vie. » Elle a ensuite dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, Abu Sufyan est avare ; est-ce un mal si je prends de ses biens pour nos enfants ? » Il lui a répondu : « Non, mais seulement ce qui est raisonnable. »

A'isha reported that Hind, daughter of Utba h. Rabi', came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said:Allah's Messenger, by Allah, there was no household upon the surface of the earth than your household about which I cherished that it should be disgraced. But today there is no household on the surface of the earth than your household about which I cherish that it be honoured Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said. It will increase, by Him in Whose Hand is my life. She then said: Messenger of Allah, Abu Sufyan is a niggardly person; is there any harm for me if I spend out of that which belongs to him on our children? He said to her: No, but only that what is reasonable
