The Book of Oaths

وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شَقِيصًا مِنْ مَمْلُوكٍ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ مِنْ مَالِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Rapporté par Shu'ba : « Celui qui affranchit une part d’un esclave doit lui assurer la liberté complète à partir de ses biens. »
