Sahih Muslim, 3601

Rapporté par Aïcha (la mère des croyants) رضي الله عنها : Salim, l’esclave affranchi d’Abu Hudhaifa, vivait avec lui et sa famille dans leur maison. La fille de Suhail est venue voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et lui a dit : « Salim a atteint la puberté comme les hommes, il comprend comme eux, et il entre librement dans notre maison. Mais je sens qu’il y a quelque chose qui dérange Abu Hudhaifa. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ lui a dit : « Allaite-le, ainsi il te deviendra interdit (comme un membre de la famille), et ce qui dérange Abu Hudhaifa dans son cœur disparaîtra. » Elle est revenue et a dit : « Je l’ai allaité, et ce qui était dans le cœur d’Abu Hudhaifa a disparu. »

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him and his family in their house. She (i. e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and said:Salim has attained (purbety) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, whereupon Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said to her: Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said: So I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared
