Sahih Muslim, 3323

Rapporté par ‘Asim : J’ai demandé à Anas b. Malik رضي الله عنه si le Messager d’Allah ﷺ avait déclaré Médine sacrée. Il a répondu : « Oui, (la zone) entre tel endroit et tel autre. » Puis il a ajouté : « Celui qui y introduit une innovation… » Et il m’a dit : « C’est une chose grave d’y introduire une innovation (et celui qui le fait) subira la malédiction d’Allah, des anges et de tous les gens. Allah n’acceptera de lui, au Jour de la Résurrection, ni les actes obligatoires ni les actes surérogatoires. » Ibn Anas a ajouté : « Ou bien il héberge un innovateur. »

Asim reported:I asked Anas b. Malik whether Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had declared Medina as sacred. He said: Yes. (the area) between so and so. He who made any innovation in it, and further said to me: It is something serious to make any innovation in it (and he who does it) there is upon him the curse of Allah, and that of the angels and of all the people, Allah will not accept from him on the Day of Resurrection either obligatory acts or the surpererogatory acts. Ibn Anas said: Or he accommodates an innovator
